WTA player Mahak J. returned to California to train for her professional tour and it just so happened that she was here at the right time for this event.  Her WTA ranking earned her a spot directly into the Main Draw.  She competed and fought hard on her way to the title.  An impressive win in the Semi-finals against a more experienced player, also a former WTA 280.  A tough 3-set match that lasted over 3 hours.

Charged with more confidence after a tough win, Mahak went on to win the Finals match convincingly 6-4 and 6-4.  Video below is the Championship point of the tournament.
