All the hard work in 2014 earned our players a few spots at the 2015 Individual Sectional Championships. What a tremendous effort from everyone.
Starting with the 12U, Justin, Heather and James represented NorCal Academy in style. Heather took home 3rd place doubles. Talk about insanity, Justin -having only switched to Greenball for less than 1 month- took out all the seeded player, but eventually lost in the Finals against Kyle, he’s only about twice Justin’s size.
There is little explaining we can do with our 10U players. Lime-green shirts are now considered a threat at any USTA 10U events both for boys and girls.
Pramati took home the Girls Champion title for both singles and doubles, Sai did the same for the Boys title. Guy took out a very dangerous player in the Semi but fell to Sai in the finals. Out of the 4 boys making it to the Semi-finals, 3 are from our academy, we eventually took all the top 3 spots: Sai 1, Guy 2 and Kartik 3. Yay!!!!
Congratulations to all players, our coaches are so proud to say the least.
